ABOUT ME…

I graduated from The University of North Texas with a Master’s degree in Counseling. With over 25 years of experience working closely with children and parents as a school counselor in both Dallas and Richardson ISD, I have served as a member of the Counselor Advisory Committee, a Team Leader for a district crisis response team, a new counselor mentor, and am trained in Mental Health First Aid.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a focus in Child-centered Therapy, a member of the Texas Association for Play Therapy, have been a presenter at the Texas Counseling Association Conference, and have held an LPC license for over 20 years.

As a super proud mom of two sons, I know first hand that even with the best parenting skills we can dish out, kids can still often need additional support along the way to improve their social, emotional, and relational functioning.

I believe in building strong relationships with children, and their families, in a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment. I believe that relationship is the key to unleashing your child’s potential and to promoting growth and positive change.

I look forward to meeting you and your child!
